Conflict Minerals Statement
Aligent Spring is a socially responsible company that support human rights. We do not condone any form of violence, slavery, worker abuse or unethical business practices.
In applying our values, we ensure that our sourcing of conflict minerals (3TG) is as defined in the conflict minerals final rule, which is approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in August 2012. The final rule implements Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which is passed by US congress in July 2010.
Per our commitment to human rights, we do not accept conflict minerals from the cover countries. We expect our suppliers to have similar social values and they are required to declare their source of conflict minerals to us using the CMRT template developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
Extending beyond legal compliance and upholding our business ethics, we align our social policy with the well-being standard recommended by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD and the RBA Code of Conduct.
